Technical Services - Technical Engineer

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a Technical Engineer to join an innovative and exciting IT Solutions Company.

You will provide technical resource and 1st line support for Shift F7 clients to ensure quality service and client satisfaction.

In addition your role will include:

• To provide technical resource, covering; configuration, installation and support services for Shift F7 Clients across a range of desktop, hardware and software solutions.
• To provide 1st line support, answering clients enquiries and resolving simple problems on a range of hardware and software products.
• To provide advice on all aspects of configuration, installation, supported options, etc., for both desktop and laptop computers, for both clients and Business Development Managers.
• To provide delivery and, where appropriate, installation, configuration, 1st line problem resolution, and rollout services.
• To produce detailed and high quality site reports and other related Technical Services documentation within given time-scales.
• Responsible for problem ownership, tracking and resolution in accordance with site procedures and standards.

Established in 1995, Shift F7 is an established IT Solutions Reseller. The company has an excellent “customer retention” rate. A large number of these are established enterprises within their own industries. We are looking to expand our sales team and can offer prospective candidates a good working environment.

Key Experience Required

• A minimum of 12 months practical experience configuring and troubleshooting PC hardware and software solutions.
• Be able to demonstrate competency in the configuration, installation and 1st line support of desktop and laptop hardware/software products.
• Industry recognised computing qualification.
• A dynamic self-starter with a proactive approach.
